Description

This is a new direction for my work. I took a few years for it to come together and deliver the image I have been looking for. I like to think of it as surreal impressionism.
All the pieces in this show are digital prints, the original is actually a jpeg. These are the first professional prints I had done of this work. They are test prints because I use them to check them to see if they might need some adjustments. When I was painting I would put a painting away for a month and then take it out to give it a once over. I do not think I ever had a piece that I did not rework. I guess my teachers taught me to be very self critical and not be easily satisfied.
